Our Menu

Starters

Starters or Mezedes: Mezedes are essential in every Greek feast, and they are usually accompanied by ouzo or tsipouro, a strong distilled spirit, which acts as an ice-breaker among people sitting at the same dining table and lifts the mood.

We have separated our starters into 4 different groups:

Cheese

 – Feta filo: feta cheese wrapped in filo pastry and topped with honey and black sesame

 – Bouyourdi: feta cheese and kasseri cheese with tomatoes and hot peppers baked in the oven (spicy)

 – Saganaki: fried kefalotyri cheese

Patties

 – Kolokithokeftedes: zucchini patties

 – Marathokefedes: fennel patties

 – Ntomatokeftedes: tomato patties

 –Taramokeftedes: fish egg patties

Please note that spring onions and herbs are included in all patties

Dips

 – Tzatziki: the famous Greek dip made with yoghurt, cucumber and garlic

 – Melitzanosalata: eggplant dip

 – Taramosalata: fish egg dip

 – Tirokafteri: cheese dip with feta cheese and hot chilli (spicy)

Saucy starters

 – Bourdetto: a famous Corfiot dish with fish cooked in hot chilli powder sauce

 – Spetsofai: Greek sausages (loukaniko) with peppers and onion, cooked in a red sauce with wine

 – Soutzoukakia: meatballs cooked in red tomato sauce with the dominant taste of cumin

 – Imam: Baked eggplants stuffed with caramelised onions, garlic and crushed tomatoes

Please note that each cooking class includes four starters, one of each category.

Salad

Although many salads exist throughout Greece, none can beat a traditional Greek salad.

Therefore, we will prepare this colourful and nutritious dish, unlike anything you have tried until now, with all the ingredients freshly picked from our garden.

A generous portion is guaranteed.

Main Course

Greece has so many dishes to offer that it would be impossible to include all of them in a single menu. So, we have selected half a dozen, such as:

– Mousaka: the most famous Greek dish made with eggplants, minced meat and béchamel cream that needs no introduction

 – Gemista: peppers and tomatoes stuffed with rice and baked in the oven

 – Sofrito: a Corfiot plate of beef meat slices cooked in garlic and vinegar white sauce

 – Pastitsio: pasta with beef minced meat and topped with béchamel cream, baked in the oven

 – Kokkinisto: beef meat cooked in red sauce and served with pasta

 – Pitta (pie): pitta is probably one of the most elaborate and challenging Greek dishes to prepare, but it is worth the effort to learn how to make a delicious Greek pie. The pastry beautifully brings up the flavours of the filling. Whether it is with cheese, spinach or minced meat, it will definitely satisfy your culinary requirements.

Please note that the main course will be accompanied by top-quality Corfiot wine.

Each class includes one main course of the courses mentioned above.
